Life with Sampson and Delilah….The 411

Monday Mischief

Today I was watching some mindless show when Hubby stepped in and said, “I figured out how Delilah broke the blind in the den.  She somehow got herself between the blinds and the door and managed to get the blinds all tangled up.”

Her favorite snoozing spot. Apparently Bob’s too.

Well Lord knows, Delilah’s created her share of mischief around here, but the blind culprit was me and I had to cop to it.  Seems I sometimes forget you can’t pull the blinds unless they are in the right position.

Ooops, my bad.

What kind of mischief have you been up to today?

This is the Monday Mischief blog hop

  1. I would have blamed the cat. We always blame the cat around here.

    The cat doesn’t care.

  2. Hey it’s jet here. Hi Miss Jodi.
Good of you to take responsibility. Sets a good example for us. Uh… Miss Jodi… We have the same blinds and uh… JJ and I may have caused uh… Like 20 or so to break off in the kitchen, family room and office over time. 😦

  3. LMAO because I have done this a dozen or so times myself! (and I have blamed Leroy for it)

    • LOL Siriusly she gets enough of the blame for stuff she actually does! I can take the fall this time, besides he has extra slats in the closet!

  4. Good for you for admitting to it. I am not sure I would have…lol. I usually blame the cat. Yes, the little 8 pound kitty is responsible for a whole bunch of mischief around here. 🙂

Phew – glad to hear Delilah wasn’t wrongly accused of Mischief!!

I think my Mum should take the blame for some of my Mischief for me – yeah that would be cool – Tee Hee

    Have fun,

    Your pal Snoopy 🙂

  6. You confessed? Hmmm… now you will be blamed for shredding the newspaper as well.

  7. LOL. I hate blinds and am always breaking ours. Why are they so difficult to figure out? Why does the cord always jam? Why don’t things just fix themselves?

Shiva actually once got tangled up in the blind cord on one of the few occasions we risked leaving her alone outside of her crate. I think she panicked and tried to watch for us out of the window, and then got stuck in the dangling cord. When we returned she was kind of half-sitting on the dining room chair looking pathetic. Every other time we’ve left her since I’ve made sure that bloody cord is tied up.

  8. Someday we’ll have some kind of attractive window treatment…for now, its one less thing to go wrong and one less thing to keep clean! Nice of you to own up, I’m sure Delilah was relieved.

  9. Poor Bob, he looks rather pissed off about the whole situation.

Are you the one taking any random food container left on the counter, smashing it up, chewing on it, and leaving the remains scattered around on the carpet too? Sweet darling Delilah, perhaps she is innocent of all wrongdoings. 🙂
